My husband was having heart surgery when this happened, so I missed your announcement. Life is just getting back to semi-normal, and I suddenly wondered why I wasn’t getting your emails. And now I know why.

I’m very saddened by this development, Bob, but I can certainly understand your reasons. I just hope it is indeed a hiatus and not a goodbye. Your generous contributions to the digital painting community have been invaluable, and I’ve enjoyed and learned a great deal from every article.

I know I’m far from alone in missing your enlightening writing. Many thanks, and I wish you every success!
